Katie Furst
Owner/Licensed Massage Therapist
Katie is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Gainesville, Florida. She received her training through The National Institute of Massotherapy and also holds a BA in Communication Studies from Kent State University. Katie has worked with a variety of theater and dance companies, including the national tours of Kinky Boots, Cinderella, Mamma Mia, Something Rotten and The Cleveland Ballet as their on-site massage therapist. It has also been her privilege to work extensively with a variety of athletes including ultra marathon runners and triathletes She has extended training in Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release and Prenatal Massage.
Before following her passion for massage, Katie was an actor working across the globe, but based herself in New York City. Her passion for health and wellness has followed her throughout her life and led her to massage. She is excited to be a part of such a wonderful community in Florida ...not to mention, she now gets to escape WINTER!
